ISR Performance HGC Long Tube Headers

ISR Performance Long Tube Headers for Nissan 370Z / Infiniti G37

The ISR Performance HGC Long Tube Headers are performance exhaust headers designed for selected Nissan 370Z Z34 and Infiniti G37 applications equipped with the VQ37VHR engine. The HGC (High Ground Clearance) design positions the collectors higher underneath the vehicle while using stepped primary tubes and 304 stainless-steel construction.

O₂ Sensor Requirements

Because the long-tube design relocates the O₂ sensor positions, the primary O₂ sensor harnesses require extensions. ISR places two O₂ bungs on each header downstream of the collector so the factory upstream and downstream sensors can be used with the appropriate extensions.

Performance Design

The stepped-primary design is intended to maintain useful low- and mid-range torque while allowing stronger airflow at higher engine speeds. The HGC collector positioning also provides more ground clearance than conventional long-tube designs.

Important Emissions Notice

ISR states that these headers are legal only for competition vehicles that may never be registered, licensed or operated on public streets or highways, and for other exempt vehicles.

Long-tube headers can also affect catalytic-converter placement and emissions-system operation. Buyers should verify local emissions and road-use requirements before purchasing.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Installation on VQ-platform vehicles can require significant access to the engine/subframe area, and the O₂ sensor harnesses must be correctly extended and routed.
